Had an awesome experience at Sunset Indian Cuisine! I stopped by to watch the FIFA World Cup 2026 match between Argentina and Cape Verde while enjoying some food. I ordered the momo, samosa chaat, and chicken wings, and everything was fresh and delicious. The momo was definitely the standout dish—one of the best I’ve had! The atmosphere was great with the game on, and it made for a perfect evening of amazing food and football. I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend this place!

last sunday i randomly went to this restauran. i was just hungry i wanted to have some real delicious food. I asked the owner what is best to eat he recommended me the chicken curry , butter naan and then one item from vegetable entries. i ordered it and when i tried it was so delicious. I couldnot express the taste in words. I recommend everyone near San Francisco to come once and try food in this restaurant. You will not regret it.

I often finish work late and with little energy to cook, so knowing it stays open until midnight makes it my go-to for a satisfying, home-style meal. Whenever I crave Indian flavors, I enjoy Saag Paneer — it's creamy and perfectly spiced. And when I feel like having some non-veg options, I usually go for chicken curry by a side of mixed vegetables. It always hits the spot! They also serve an authentic Nepali menu, which adds a special touch. The Momo is delicious—soft, juicy, and truly satisfying. Chicken Chowmein, It has a comforting, home-like taste. The noodles are nicely wok-tossed and enriched with Himalayan spices that give it a wonderfully smoky flavor. On top of the great food, the service is super friendly and the owner is genuinely open to suggestions and feedback, which says a lot about the care they put into this place. Keep up the great work, Sunset Indian Cuisine team — I'll definitely keep coming back for more! Plus, try Nepali beer Barahsinghe, which tastes more like a German-style Pilsner.

Sunset Indian Restaurant, has taken over the former Naan N' Curry location, and the transformation is impressive. The interior has been thoughtfully updated with attractive décor, a carpeted dining room that softens the space, and the welcome addition of two bathrooms — a definite improvement for guests. I especially appreciate that they now offer beer on tap, which pairs nicely with their menu. The wine selection is also solid, providing good options to complement the meal. As for the food, the Lamb Biryani is easily a 5+ star dish. The rice is light, loose, and beautifully aromatic, with just the right level of spice. The addition of cashews adds a subtle richness and texture that really elevates the dish. I also thoroughly enjoyed the Palak Paneer, which was prepared with a creamy, well-balanced sauce and a generous amount of paneer. An added treat was the plain naan — simple yet perfectly done — which complemented both dishes wonderfully and rounded out the meal. Overall, Sunset Indian Restaurant is a strong addition to the neighborhood, offering flavorful dishes, thoughtful updates to the space, and a comfortable dining experience.

Sunset Indian Cuisine on Irving Street in San Francisco is a welcoming spot for authentic and flavorful Indian dishes. The food is freshly prepared, with well-balanced spices and generous portions that stand out for both taste and quality. The restaurant is clean and casual, the service attentive, and the menu offers a great variety—perfect for both dine-in and takeout. The waiter here doesn’t understand English well, make sure you ask them to repeat the order before confirming.
